I am a quilter.  The love of quilting is passed down from generation to generation.  My love of quilting naturally came from my mother, grandmother and other women in my family.  When I was 6 years old, my mother taught me to sew on her sewing machine.  I also played under the quilting frame while these ladies quilted.  I remember, listening to their conversations and admiring the beautiful work they did.

The one that stands out in my mind the most is the one my grandmother quilted by hand.  It was a postage stamp quilt, around 6,000 blocks.  Oh, how I'd love to have that quilt today.  I love all styles and all colors and want to share with you my love of quilting.  I apprieciate these women in my life and give God the Glory for my talent.
